大阪府出身の演劇分野に特化した翻訳家・通訳者・ドラマターグ。日本の大学で通訳・翻訳を中心に学び、アメリカの大学院で演劇を専攻した経歴を活かした、演劇分野の翻訳・通訳を得意とする。また、幼児期より音楽に囲まれて育ったバックグラウンドを活かし、演劇分野の中でも特にミュージカルを専門にしている。
Translator, Interpreter, Dramaturg born and raised in Japan. She specializes in translation and interpreting in the theatre field utilizing the background of studying translation and interpreting in undergraduate and studying theatre arts in graduate school. She is most interested in musical theatre since she has the background of growing up surrounded by music and can play several musical instruments herself.

得意分野は、演劇、映画、音楽、教育。過去には、演劇・映画・ビジュアルアート・商談・研修など、幅広い分野で⽇英通訳を担当。
単なる⾔葉の置き換えではなく、相⼿の⽴場や⽂化的背景、その場の⽬的を踏まえたコミュニケーションを⼼がけ、話し手の温度感や雰囲気を残したまま、相手とのコミュニケーションを良好にかつ円滑にする手助けをする。
My areas of expertise include theater, film, music, and education. In the past, I have provided Japanese-English interpretation across a wide range of fields, including theater, film, visual arts, business negotiations, and training sessions.

ドラマターグ Dramaturg
得意分野は、作品の⽂化的背景や歴史をリサーチし、演出家、デザイナー、俳優、観客などに、それぞれの⽴場に応じて必要な情報を整理し、共有する。観客の視点も踏まえながら、創作過程を⾒守り、創作者の意図について、カンパニー内で認識の齟齬がないか、またその意図が観客に適切に伝わるかを俯瞰して観察する。その中で気づいた点を伝える際は、繊細な創作活動をしているクリエイティブチームを尊重し、相⼿が前向きに受け取れる伝え⽅で共有する。
My area of expertise involves researching the cultural and historical context of a production, then organizing and sharing the necessary information with directors, designers, actors, and audiences. From the audience's perspective, I ensure that everyone in the company is on the same page and the creator's intentions are well delivered. When communicating with creators during this process, I respect the creative team’s delicate artistic work and share my insights in a way that allows them to receive the feedback constructively.
